Can I apply for an overseas Chinese card if my company has been sent abroad for many years?

Handling the returned overseas Chinese card requires identity authentication and certain conditions.

According to the understanding of Macao and Shenzhen immigrants, the identification of returned overseas Chinese should meet the following conditions at the same time:

(1) has returned to China to settle down and has the status of an overseas Chinese;

(2) Give up the long-term, permanent or legal residency in the country of origin.

If you have permanent residency abroad and decide to give up, you can apply for this card.

Overseas Chinese who wish to be recognized may apply to the overseas Chinese affairs department at the county level where their household registration is located for a Returned Overseas Chinese Certificate. To apply for the Returned Overseas Chinese Certificate, the following materials shall be submitted:

(1) The original and photocopy of my passport and residence visa in my original country of residence, or the notarization or certificate (original) of the applicant's long-term or permanent residence in that country issued by Chinese embassies (consulates) abroad;

(2) A list of entry and exit records issued by the public security department and a household registration (identity) certificate or household registration book issued by the police station in the jurisdiction where the person returned to his original place of residence;

(three) a written commitment to voluntarily give up the right of abode abroad;

(4) Other certificates deemed necessary by the accepting department.
