Lianyungang Vocational and Technical College is a comprehensive full-time general university under the leadership and management of the provincial government and implemented by provincial and municipal governments. The school’s predecessor was Lianyungang Vocational University, which was established with the approval of the Ministry of Education in March 1983. In March 1999, it was renamed Lianyungang Vocational and Technical College.
