The origin of anzhuang village name

During the Hongwu period in the early Ming Dynasty, Shanxi suffered from drought for years, locusts were everywhere, and the people were miserable. The Ming government ordered the people to forcibly move out of Shanxi. Although it was difficult to leave their homeland, the people had no plans to live, and the Ming army forced them to move out of Shanxi Province. The word "jieshou" was also handed down at that time. At that time, there was a saying of "red-headed fly" because the Ming army had a red headscarf on its head. According to the Ming History, An surname, as one of the surnames of people who moved to Huaihua, once moved to Shandong, Henan, Anhui, Zhejiang and other places (see The Origin of An surname for details).

There are many legends about the large-scale immigration organized by the Ming government. Although there is no textual research, it bears in mind people's unspeakable pain for the great immigrants.

It's not just people who move to Hongdong who move locust trees in Hongdong. Sophora japonica in Hongtong is the general gathering place of Shanxi immigrants, mainly Taiyuan, Pingyang (now Linfen) and Ze, Lu, Liao, Qin and Fen. Roughly speaking, there are at least several million. At that time, there were records of immigrants, which specifically recorded where all immigrants came from and where they migrated. Unfortunately, they were destroyed in the Cultural Revolution.

At that time, immigration was also a great feat in China's immigration history. The Anshi brothers were one of the earliest immigrants who moved into the giant land from the bottom of the old pagoda tree in Hongtong County, Shanxi Province. Today, I moved to Anzhuang Town, because my surname is An and my name is An Zhuang. After that, the families of the two brothers gradually grew, and later generations gradually dispersed to build villages, first building Xi 'an Village, and then building another village in the middle of the two villages. Therefore, the village is located between Anzhuang and Xi 'an Village, so it was named Zhong 'an Village. Because there is a depression behind the village, Anshi is called Anjiawa, and then the village is gradually built. At least five villages in Anzhuang are related to Anshi: Anzhuang, Zhong 'an, Xi 'an, Anjiawa and Anjiabaowa.

Why, when, and where Ann moved out for various reasons is still unknown, leaving endless reverie and mysterious speculation for the descendants of Anzhuang. This is the famous "An's Mystery" in the history of Anzhuang, and it is also one of the famous "Four Mysteries in Juxian County" (also known as "Four Mysteries in Juxian County"), so Anzhuang no longer has a surname. From Anshi Ding Cun to other surnames, it took hundreds of years to form Anzhuang Village. In recent years, stone tablets have been found around the village, which records that Hong Tong moved from Shanxi to the village during the Ming Hongwu and Yongle years. However, except that "An" is recorded as a branch of Shanxi's move to Shandong, even immigrants with other surnames who moved from Shanxi did not live directly in the village after moving in, but moved to other places and then transferred to the village.
