Where are the immigrants who entered the Central Plains of Jiangxi Province after Yongjia Rebellion?
After Yongjia Rebellion, Central Plains immigrants who entered Jiangxi were mainly distributed in Xunyang County.
Xunyang, now called Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province in ancient times, was named after Xunyang River, a section where the Yangtze River flowed in ancient times. The county is north of the Yangtze River, that is, the Yang of Xunshui. After the diversion of the Yangtze River, the county became Jiangnan. The former Jiujiang county was divided into north and south parts. The southern part is the area where Jiujiang City in Jiangxi Province belongs today, and the northern part includes the area from Xiaochi to Kong Long in Huangmei County, Hubei Province today, so that the name of Xunyang can still be continued.
