Luhun Town is named after the Luhun Reservoir under its jurisdiction.

Luhun Town, belonging to Songxian County, Luoyang City, Henan Province, is located in the northeast of Songxian County, bordering Fanpo Town in the east, Zhifang Town in the south, Daping Township and Chengguan Town in the west, Zhuangyan Town and Tianhu Town in the north, with an administrative area of 75.46 square kilometers.
