Colin Luther Powell was born in new york on April 5, 1937 and grew up in the South Bronx. His parents are Jamaican immigrants. 1958 graduated from new york City University with a bachelor's degree in geography. During my study in school, I joined the reserve officer training team and graduated with the rank of second lieutenant. After completing the basic training of an infantry officer, he was sent to Germany and promoted to lieutenant. Subsequently, he was sent to Denvins, Massachusetts, Campbell, Kentucky, Leavenworth, Kansas and Carson, Colorado.
