It happened in (1662) that the Sovereign expelled the Hongmao Yi people to return to Taiwan. The Red Maoyi people refer to the (Dutch) colonists. They occupied Taiwan Province at the end of the Ming Dynasty.

The event of Taiwan Province's return to Qing Dynasty took place in (1683). Since then, the Qing government has set up a Taiwanese government to strengthen the management of Taiwan Province.
