Marco Rubio’s personal experience
Marco Rubio was born in Miami in 1971 to a Cuban immigrant family. His mother was a maid and his father was a bartender. He was the third son in the family.
When Marco was young, he spent more time with his grandfather, who also immigrated to the United States, and his character seemed to be more deeply affected. After coming to the United States, my grandfather did not seem to experience any conceptual discomfort. He immediately became a supporter of President Reagan and his governing philosophy, and he also firmly believed in American supremacy. These had a subtle impact on Rubio during his growth period.
Rubio attended South Miami Senior High School. After graduating from high school in 1989, Marco Rubio entered college with a football scholarship. He later obtained a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Florida and a law degree from the University of Miami. Ph.D. In 1996, Rubio, who was new to society, joined the presidential campaign team of Republican and Democratic Senator Bob Dole and officially began his political career.
In 1998 (some say 1999), Rubio successfully ran for the Florida House of Representatives and was re-elected four consecutive times in 2002, 2004 and 2006. While there, he spent most of his time enacting the agenda of centrist Democratic Gov. Jeb Bush. He also showed off his nerdy potential, once touring the state in good faith under the guise of "concentrating the wisdom of the people." Hundreds of proposals collected were subsequently published.
In 2005, Rubio won the position of Speaker of the Florida House of Representatives, becoming the first Cuban-American speaker in the state.
In 2009, he announced his candidacy for the Florida Senate, but received only 3 support in the first poll of possible senatorial candidates. Later, with the help of the rising power of the "Tea Party", Rubio Unexpectedly defeated Crist in the Democratic Party primary, became the Democratic Senatorial candidate of Florida, and soon became a rising political star across the country.
In 2010, he was officially elected as the Florida U.S. Senator and entered the national political stage.
On April 13, 2015, he announced his participation in the election.
