Minnan dialect originated in the early middle ancient Chinese.

The origin of Chinese in the early Middle Ages is the Jinling sub-language formed by the mixture of ancient Chinese and Wu dialect (Wu dialect here refers to Wu dialect of Dongtai language family).

Due to the development of modern phonology, there have been successfully restored videos. You only need to search for "Middle Ancient Chinese" videos to hear this language. Medieval Chinese and Minnan Chinese are mostly the same.
