The proportion of India's high caste population
If Dalits refer to Da Park Jung Su people, the current statistical method is to count them as scheduled castes/scheduled tribes. After the abolition of the caste system, all Indian populations are divided into four categories according to their communities: scheduled castes, scheduled tribes, "other backward classes" (OBC) and advanced castes. According to SECC 2011(201/annual socio-economic and caste survey), these four categories of people are listed caste 19.7%, listed tribe 8.5% and other backward classes 41. This classification method also takes into account the economic situation and actual social status, so the scheduled castes and scheduled tribes are not exactly equal to the historical untouchables, but we can roughly estimate the number of the lowest population in India. Brahmins basically belong to the high caste, but this classification also includes Khrushchev, some Vedas, and sudra, where life is relatively comfortable.
