Jizi Korea has existed for nearly a thousand years. At the end of the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, a Yan aristocrat led troops to occupy Pyongyang and named it "Weishi Korea". Wei's Korea existed for less than 300 years. During this period, people from the Central Plains migrated to the north of Korea, which was the second large-scale population migration.

After the Western Han Dynasty, a people who loved Koguryo appeared on the Korean peninsula. Koguryo has existed for more than 700 years. In the prosperous Tang Dynasty, due to the frequent rebellion of Koguryo's adherents, in order to avoid the influence of these unstable factors, the Tang Dynasty ordered hundreds of thousands of households in Koguryo to move to empty places in southern Jianghuai, Henan, Longyou and other States.

This is the third large-scale migration on the Korean peninsula.
