How can I check my passport number? Can you find it online?

Passport numbers can't be found online unless there is an officially authorized specialized agency such as the police station or immigration bureau.

However, there are two ways to check the passport number:

Take my ID card and residence booklet to the Exit-Entry Administration Center of the Public Security Bureau where I signed up.

Call the Public Security Bureau directly, enter the ID card or application number, or inquire through the website of the Public Security Bureau.
