According to the records of the temple tablet, Shanggao Zongmiao was built in the second year of Yuanguang in the Western Han Dynasty (BC 135), rebuilt in the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, and finally rebuilt in the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty. There are dozens of pines and cypresses in Gaozong Temple, which are about 30 feet high and folded thick, and are over 500 years old. There are nearly a hundred stone tablets in the temple, which are more than one foot high, camel-shaped, seven or eight feet low, and the stone seats are fixed. Legend has it that children can avoid disaster by grinding steamed bread on a stone tablet. Therefore, whenever there are temple fairs on March 3rd and June 6th, Spring Festival, Lantern Festival and other festivals, many pilgrims and farmers will come to the meeting and bring their children to grind steamed bread. Over time, the stone tablet was polished as bright as a mirror, and the handwriting was blurred.
Tucheng site with high city is divided into two parts, the larger one in the north is called Zhai; The smaller one in the south is called the city. There are walls around the city, and there are walls on the walls. There is a gate in the east of the city, and there is a tower on the gate. The tower says "Qinglong City" in three Chinese characters. It is said that this style remained until the eve of liberation.
On the ruins of the elevation, there are rammed soil layers and rammed nests when repairing the city. In ancient times, people used a big stick with a thick bowl to build a wall, and the compacted soil layer would leave a round pit that was smashed by the stick head. This is a very old building method. It is speculated that the city was built more than 5,000 years ago because rope-patterned pottery pieces, pots, ash pits and cultural layers with different thicknesses were found here. At the same time, musical instruments of the Western Zhou Dynasty, weapons, spears and halberds of the State of Yue in the Spring and Autumn Period and bronze arrow clusters in the Warring States Period have also been unearthed here. Some people infer that this place used to be an ancient battlefield, and the history of this city is endless.
In the folk, Qinglong City is handed down to the immortals. It is said that this city is a place for villagers in several local villages to escape from war and bandits. When taking refuge, people in the city will go in as long as they don't say "full", and 180 thousand can accommodate them; Once someone says "full", even if there are only 10 thousand people inside, no one can go in. It sounds superstitious, but some old people still believe it.
It is said that not far from Qinglong City, there is also a Qin Song City, which is said to have been built by Shang Zhouwang for Princess da ji. Combined with the unearthed cultural relics, it is speculated that the high-rise city may have been built in Xia and Shang Dynasties with a long history.
