When did Mark Chao immigrate?

It is reported that Taiwan Province's famous movie star Mark Chao has applied for renunciation of Canadian citizenship and has passed the examination. After passing the examination, Mark Chao's nationality can be moved back to the mainland and become a mainland resident.
