Century Wars Episode 1 Chen and Huang Fei
A Stranger's Daughter-in-law is a Guangdong local sitcom produced by Guangdong Radio and Television Station, directed by Liu Weiping, Yang Jianian and written by Wang Ping and Xu Danhua, starring Gong Jintang, Guo Chang and Peng Xinzhi.
The play tells the story of the Kang family living in an old house in Xiguan, Guangzhou for decades. Kang Bo (Gong Jintang) and Kang Auntie (Huang Jinshang) have four sons, namely (Zhidan Su), Qi Zong (Guo Xu), Qi Yao (Peng Xinzhi) and Qi Zu (Xu Ruoqi). All four sons got married recently, and the eldest son, A Guang, married a girl from Henan (Ding Ling).
The second son, A Zong, married a local girl (played by Hu Yanfen), the third son, A Yao, married a Shanghai girl, and the fourth son, A Zu, married a German girl (played by Hao Lianlu). This next room is full of people from all over the world, where local cultures blend, and the gap between regions and cultures has made many jokes in this big family. Kang family is an interesting thing in life almost every day.
Reasons for success:
In the play, it runs in a big family, which is not only suitable for expressing stories of all ages, but also because of the multi-line arrangement of the character relationship, more secondary characters revolve around the core figures of the Kang family, from neighbors to relatives and friends from other provinces and even other places, to new immigrants in Guangzhou, to foreigners wandering in Guangzhou. It is this delay and expansion of foreign drama that makes its story colorful and full of intimacy.
