The concept of skilled immigrants in Australia is simply that non-Australian permanent residents apply for immigration to Australia with their professional skills. So what kind of people are eligible to immigrate to Australia? Australian immigration law stipulates that the following four basic conditions must be met first:

4) Education: High school education or above is required.

If you meet the above four basic conditions, you are eligible to give yourself an immigration score. At present, Australia's immigration score is 120, but in order to meet the needs of production development in some States, Australia has formulated some special immigration standards, which are 100 or even 70. In other words, if you give yourself a score of 120, you can 100% emigrate to any place in Australia. If your score is only 100 or even lower, you need to meet some additional conditions of the Australian government, such as living in a non-metropolis or lacking skilled workers nominated by some Australian state governments, such as chefs, mechanics in the automobile industry, metal structure, welding and metal plate mechanics, electricians, painters and so on.

Some applicants with college education can also be rated as 60-point occupations, such as some IT professionals or those who have passed the translation qualification with good English. Professional nominations in Australia are generally based on your academic qualifications. Australia believes that 60 points for majors belong to study and professional training in universities, 50 points for occupations belong to no professional training in universities, and specialties are just ordinary studies, so different scores are given according to these majors. It is worth noting that skilled workers also belong to the 60-point occupation. Australia calls it Tradeperson, and there is a great shortage of skilled workers in Australia, such as plumbers, electricians, fitters, painters, cooks and so on.
