PSW visa

9. Academic qualifications that do not meet PSW requirements without professional assessment:

1 After two years of junior college of accounting (AQF6), all credits will be transferred to bachelor's degree. 1 Bachelor's degree in accounting (AQF7) will be awarded. This does not meet the requirement of two years' study, which must be AQ F7 or above.

2. If the master's degree is followed by a postgraduate certificate or diploma. In this case, if the major can apply for the old TR 485 on SOL list, it cannot apply for PSW. The qualifications for applying for a PSW visa are:

You can only apply for a 485 visa once. Existing 485 visa holders can no longer apply for an Australian PSW visa.

It should be noted that there are several exceptions that are not recognized:

1. The doctor of law degree is recognized as a master's degree (extension).

2. Doctoral degrees in the following five professions are recognized as master's degrees (extended): medicine, physiotherapy, dentistry, ophthalmology and veterinary medicine.

3. Students are not allowed to participate in graduate certificates or graduate diplomas to meet the learning requirements of bachelor's or master's degrees. Students must complete the learning requirements with equivalent academic qualifications. Two classifications (PSW&; TR) * * * Application requirements include:

1. Two-year study in Australia (92-week course).

3. In CRICOS (Australian Federal Government Overseas Student Institutions and Course Registration System), the registration materials list the names of all federally registered institutions and registered courses that can recruit students to study in Australia with student visas. Therefore, CRICOS code is the basis for overseas students to identify whether schools and courses are qualified to recruit overseas students. ) Registered schools learn in English.

The difference between PSW and TR visas

1.PSW requires that the applicant must be the first student visa submitted and obtained after the implementation of 2065 438+0 165438 GTE, and the two-year study must be aimed at completing a bachelor's degree or above, regardless of any major. The undergraduate or teaching master will get a 2-year visa, the research master will get a 3-year visa, and the doctor will get a 4-year visa.

Number 2.2. TR (graduate work) visa requires that the applicant's major is on the SOL professional list and needs relevant professional evaluation. Visa validity 18 months.

3. As you can see, the requirements of PSW work visa are much looser than those of postgraduate work visa application, and the validity period is still half a year. 4. IELTS requirements are slightly different. Traditional TR requires IELTS 6 or PTE 55. Or OET4 B ("OET" English full name "Occupative English Test") is a professional English test sponsored by the Australian Bureau of Adult Education (CAE), which is specially aimed at overseas medical professionals. The purpose of OET occupational English test is to evaluate the English level of medical and health professionals who want to study abroad, immigrate to Australia or work in Australia. The current visa status of a 485 visa applicant must at least meet the following requirements:

1. The applicant holds a valid student visa.

2. The applicant holds a bridge visa A or a bridge visa B that is approved based on the application for a non-student visa.
