When will the Laomudong of Wu Tong Bridge of Minjiang Navigation and Power Junction be started?

Construction started on 20 16, and it is estimated that on 20 19 and 12, the lock of the navigation and power hub will be officially opened, and the first unit will generate electricity at the same time.

At present, in Sichuan province, large items can only be transported by water from Minjiang River to Yangtze River. However, Minjiang Shipping is a dry season from February to the end of March every year, and it can't sail for about 4 months. The comprehensive development of navigation and electricity in Minjiang Port has been included in the national development plan of the Yangtze River Economic Belt, and it is a key project for the construction of the Yangtze River golden waterway determined by the Ministry of Transport and the provincial government.

Upon completion, the Yangtze River Golden Waterway will extend to Chengdu Economic Zone162km, and the construction of a large transport corridor will be of great significance for serving the development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt, improving the transportation and logistics conditions in Sichuan and enhancing the location advantages of Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Zone.

Chengdu's large-scale equipment and Longquanyi's automobile products are all transported to Meishan by large roads, and then directly to Leshan Minjiang Wharf. Minjiang River (Leshan-Yibin section) is the only channel for large-scale equipment products to enter and leave Sichuan. However, during the four-month dry season, this large waterway cannot be transported.

In order to improve the channel capacity and ensure uninterrupted transportation throughout the year, the comprehensive development project of navigation and electricity in Minjiang Port started on 20 15. Chengdu Business Daily reporter recently visited and learned that among the six components of the project, Qianwei Navigation and Power Hub has entered the stage of comprehensive construction, and Laomukong Navigation and Power Hub and Longxikou Navigation and Power Hub will be completed next year.
