Where is Houshigou Village in Christina Village?

Houshigou Village is located in the northwest of Tieshan Town and west of Tieshan Reservoir.

There are 93 households with 235 people, 486 mu of cultivated land and 800 mu of forest land.

Houshigou village used to be a big village, with Liu as the main surname and a few miscellaneous surnames such as Yang, Bi and Li. 1959, Tieshan Reservoir was completed, and Houshigou Village became an immigrant village in the reservoir area. It went to Dalian and Dongxin Village, and the rest settled on the east and west banks of the reservoir. The east coast became the present Dongfanghong Village, while the west coast followed the old village name Houshigou Village, with Liu as the main name, followed by Yang and Bi.

1966, Tieshan reservoir was completed. After the reservoir is full of water, only a small sampan can be used as a means of transportation in and out of the village, which is extremely inconvenient. Now there is a 7-meter-wide country road, which can be connected with Taixue Road in front, and then connected with Liuwang Town through Henan and Zhengjiamiao, with convenient transportation.

The whole village is dominated by agriculture, but also engaged in fruit industry and animal husbandry. The per capita income of the village reached 5 136 yuan.

On February 20 19, Shigou Village was awarded the honorary title of Health Village in Shandong Province for 20 19.
