The outstanding performance of Northeast singers reflects the basic education level of contemporary Northeast music, and the level of urbanization is the most influential factor. Art needs to be cultivated from an early age, which requires high teachers and economic conditions. Children in the city have the opportunity to participate in various interest classes or youth palace cultural activities since childhood, and have professional teachers to guide them, so they are more qualified to embark on the road of art.

It is difficult for children in rural areas to have the opportunity to receive systematic training in musical instruments, vocal music or painting since childhood, and it is even more difficult to imagine taking art as a profession and getting ahead.

Northeast China has long been the region with the highest level of urbanization in China. 1957 reached 34.48%. Especially during the first five-year plan period, the growth rate of urbanization rate is more than 20 percentage points higher than that of the whole country. Even though there was stagnation and retrogression in the period of 1958- 1978, the urbanization rate in northeast China was still nearly double the national average. Another factor that cannot be ignored is the special status and role of state-owned enterprises. In the northeast, it is very common for enterprises to run society. The children's schools of large state-owned enterprises are willing to provide better educational resources for music, art, sports and other educational fields that pay more attention to quality. Moreover, large state-owned enterprises have a developed trade union system and often organize recreational activities, creating a stronger literary atmosphere than ordinary cities.

In a metropolis like Beijing and Shanghai, teenagers enjoy better education, and the number of celebrities in the entertainment circle is obviously higher than that in other places, which is also the reason. For example, the singers who appeared in the Spring Festival Gala over the years, according to the proportion of population, except Beijing ranked first, Tianjin and Shanghai ranked third and sixth, and there was no obvious sign.

In fact, the most glorious era of Northeast singers was from the 1960s to the early 20th century, when the economic status of Northeast China was declining. People born in this era, I'm afraid it is difficult to reproduce the glory of Na Ying and Sun Nan. Similarly, the status of Shenyang Conservatory of Music in the industry has been declining.
