Planning and Construction of Dongpu Reservoir

After the relocation of the existing villages, the original area will be incorporated into the "Northern Ecological Recreation Area" in Shushan District, and together with the key ecological greening projects such as the expansion of Botanical Garden to the south, the greening along the highway around the lake, the greening corridor from Hehuai to Fuxia, and the seedling and flower base in the north of Nangang Town, 40,000 mu of contiguous "green lungs" will be formed in the northwest of Hefei. It is understood that Shushan District also plans to build a park around Dongpu Reservoir to provide Hefei citizens with a good place to relax by taking advantage of the surrounding greening.
