Dubai passport application conditions

Legal analysis: 1. The original and copied passports must be signed by the holder of the passport on the last page; the validity period must be at least six months (from the last day of validity of the applied visa); the passport must have at least 2 pages for use. Blank pages of your visa; if you have an old passport, you must provide all of it. 2. Copy of ID card. Copies of the front and back sides. The content must be clear. 3. Photo: 1 one-inch photo with a white background, taken within the past six months.

Article 6 Citizens applying for an ordinary passport shall submit their resident ID card, household registration booklet, and recent bareheaded photo and relevant materials regarding the reason for the application. If a state employee applies for an ordinary passport when leaving the country for the reasons stipulated in Article 5 of this Law, he shall also submit relevant supporting documents in accordance with relevant state regulations.

The exit-entry administration agency of the public security organ shall issue an ordinary passport within 15 days from the date of receipt of the application materials; if it refuses to issue a passport that does not meet the regulations, it shall explain the reasons in writing and inform the applicant that he or she has the right to apply in accordance with the law. The right to conduct administrative reconsideration or initiate administrative litigation.

If a passport cannot be issued on time in remote areas or areas with inconvenient transportation or due to special circumstances, the issuance time can be extended to thirty days with the approval of the person in charge of the passport-issuing authority.

If a citizen requests expedited processing due to reasonable emergency reasons, the exit and entry management agency of the public security organ shall handle it in a timely manner.

Article 7 The registration items of ordinary passports include: the passport holder’s name, gender, date of birth, and place of birth, the passport’s issuance date, validity period, issuance place and issuing authority.

The validity period of an ordinary passport is: five years when the passport holder is under 16 years old, and ten years when the passport holder is over 16 years old. The specific issuance methods for ordinary passports shall be stipulated by the Ministry of Public Security.
