Is the success rate of China people applying for Canadian Maple Leaf Card high?

According to the latest data, from June to May this year, there were 18487 immigrants in China who applied for maple leaf cards, of which 18406 were approved, 57 were rejected and 24 were withdrawn. The success rate increased to 99.7%, and the rejection rate was only 0.3%, which means that only 3 people out of 1000 were rejected. The success rate is as high as 99.7%

According to the provisions of the Immigration and Refugee Law, the maple leaf card is valid for five years. After the expiration of the Maple Leaf Card, the holder of the Maple Leaf Card must have lived in Canada for two years in the past five years before he can obtain a new Maple Leaf Card, otherwise he may lose his permanent resident status.

Wang Renduo, an immigration lawyer, pointed out that the number of rejections in Chinese mainland, Hongkong and Taiwan Province provided by the Immigration Department did not include the cases being investigated by the Immigration Department and the cases that needed to be supplemented. Therefore, there is a big gap between the number of rejected people provided by the Immigration Bureau and the real number.
