Introduction to Lee Man-yi, Minister of Environment of South Korea
South Korean media reported on October 8, 2010 that South Korea’s Environment Minister Lee Man-yi was recently involved in the illegitimate daughter scandal and planned to undergo a DNA paternity test in her office.
In 2008, a Korean woman revealed to the media that Li Wanyi was her biological father. She said that her mother dated Li Wanyi as a couple in the 1970s and then gave birth to her. However, this statement was denied by Li Wanyi. So the woman took Li Wanyi to court and asked him to conduct a paternity test with her.
The South Korean court made a judgment in the first instance and required Li Wanyi to undergo a DNA paternity test. However, Li Wanyi was dissatisfied with the court's decision and appealed, but the court ultimately upheld the original verdict.
