2023 Macao visa new regulations

The new visa policy for Macao in 2023 is as follows:

You can only apply for a Macao visa once every three months or one year. If the time interval between the endorsement of Macao individual tour and the last endorsement is less than two months at the time of application, you cannot apply. For example, you have been to Macau once in 1 1, and you can only apply to Macau again in the following year 1.

Mainland residents who go to Macao with a stay endorsement may apply for a stay endorsement again during their stay in Macao or after returning to the mainland, including the replacement and renewal of their travel permits to and from Hong Kong and Macao. If they meet the conditions stipulated by the Ministry of Public Security for applying for a travel permit and endorsement in their non-permanent residence, they may apply to the exit-entry administration department of the relevant local public security organ in accordance with the regulations.

To apply for going to Macao, an endorsement can be issued every three months and once every 1 year, and each stay in Macao should not exceed 7 days. Before coming to Hong Kong and Macao, you must obtain an endorsement issued by the mainland public security department for the purpose of Hong Kong and Macao, such as group travel, individual travel, business or other endorsements.

Application material

1. Complete the Application Form for Mainland Residents' Travel Permit to and from Hong Kong and Macao and the applicant's recent bareheaded color photo (48×33mm).

2. The identity certificate of the applicant. Mainland residents submit the original residence booklet and ID card (/kloc-applicants under the age of 0/6 only need to submit the residence booklet; Soldiers only need to submit proof of identity and a copy.

3. Proof materials corresponding to the application.

4. Work unit or police station.

5. Holders of valid passes to and from Hong Kong and Macao must submit their passes to and from Hong Kong and Macao.
