What materials do I need to provide to book a tourist visa in the United States?

1. A valid travel passport to the United States must be valid for at least six months outside the scheduled stay in the United States (except for countries with special agreements to enjoy visa exemption). If the passport contains more than one person, each visa applicant needs to submit a separate application.

Face-to-face booking process:

After filling in the DS 160 form, you need to log in to the US visa reservation website system to register your account, then choose a new appointment, enter your personal information as required, get the payment number, pay online or go to CITIC Bank to pay by yourself, and enter the payment receipt number to choose the appointment time for face-to-face interviews.

Please note:

After the reservation is successful, please bring the printed reservation form, the printed confirmation page of DS- 160, recent photos of the last six months and all new and old passports to the embassy for an interview. If any of the above materials is missing, the application will not be accepted.

If the applicant has already made a plane ticket, or needs to go to the United States urgently in the near future, but can't make an appointment for the face-to-face interview date, he can contact a third party to apply for expedited face-to-face interview service.

Travel purposes that do not meet the requirements of the embassy's expedited application include:

The process of applying for an American tourist visa and making an appointment for an expedited interview;

Step 1

Fill in the electronic application form for non-immigrant visa (DS- 160).

Second step

Pay the visa application fee.

Third step

Provide the information of UCI number or DS- 160 form to online customer service, and the customer service will arrange the interview time online to grab the earliest interview date.

Step 4:

Please come to the American embassy or consulate general for an interview at the appointed time. You need to bring a printed letter of appointment, a printed confirmation page of DS- 160 form, photos of the last six months and all new and old passports.
