Where is the fun in Yexian County?

Ye County Government was founded in the second year of Hongwu in Ming Dynasty (A.D. 1369), located on the north side of the central street in the county. It is the only five-level county government in China in the Ming Dynasty. Since its establishment more than 600 years ago, the main building has been basically well preserved. Among them, the main gate, lobby, second hall, third hall and their ancillary buildings cover an area of more than 3,000 square meters. There are 62 existing buildings in Ming and Qing Dynasties. Since ancient times, Yexian County has been a transportation channel of "Yunnan-Guizhou in Nantong and Youyan in the north", and its strategic position is very important. In the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the magistrate of a county was generally a seven-level official title, while Yexian County was formed by the merger of Kunyang, Yexian, Hongyang and Wuyang in the Han Dynasty, and the county magistrate was a five-level official. This difference is also evident in the architectural style and scale of the whole county government.

From the outside, the appearance of the Yexian government is not surprising, and even makes people feel quite humble. However, step by step, I found that it was hidden, just like a narrow-mouthed gourd with a small mouth and a big belly. The main axis of the whole building complex is the gate, instrument door, lobby, hall 2 and hall 3. The buildings on the east and west sides are symmetrically built, which complement the buildings on the main shaft and progress step by step.

Yanshan reservoir

Yanshan Reservoir (downstream of Yangwan Village Hydrological Station in bao an xiang, Yexian County, Pingdingshan City 1 km, there are large and small Yanshan mountains, so the proposed reservoir is named Yanshan Reservoir. ) This project is located in the upper reaches of the Lijiang River, the main tributary of the Huaihe River Basin, and it is one of the key flood control projects approved by the State Council in previous Huaihe River Basin planning and "Several Opinions on Recent Flood Control Construction in Huaihe River Basin". The Henan Provincial Party Committee and the provincial government attach great importance to the construction of Yanshan Reservoir, and have listened to reports for many times and held executive meetings and governor's office meetings to study the construction of Yanshan Reservoir. In the Outline of Water Conservancy Construction and Development in Henan Province, Yanshan Reservoir was listed as "one of the major projects with good conditions and strategic significance" and was identified as the key project in the "200 1-20 10 Water Conservancy Development Plan" of Henan Province. The main task of the project is flood control, combined with comprehensive utilization of water supply, irrigation and power generation. The reservoir control basin area is 1 169 square kilometers, with a total storage capacity of 925 million cubic meters.

Wang Mao Mountain (Wang Mao Shi Mountain)

"The Story of the Stone in Wang Fu" Li Bai is like an guqin, mixed with sorrow and joy. Dew is like tears today, and moss is like clothes of the past. There is hatred for the same Hunan girl, and there is no such thing as Chu Fei. Silently fragrant, waiting for her husband to return. This poem describes Wang Maoshi Mountain in Yexian County. Legend has it that in the Qin Dynasty, there was a woman who often stood on the top of the mountain and looked north because her husband was taken to repair the Great Wall. Over time, she became a stone, and later generations called this mountain Wang Mi Stone Mountain. It is located in Xindian Township in the south of Yexian County, close to Zhu Ping Highway (Pingdingshan to Zhumadian). In addition to Wang Mi Stone, there are artificial lakes, ginkgo trees, Maoren Temple, bamboo forests, ancestral temples and other landscapes in the scenic spot.

Gushitan Reservoir

Gushitan Reservoir is located at the junction of Yexian County and Fangcheng County in the upper reaches of Lijiang River, which controls the drainage area of 285 square kilometers. Located in the east of Funiu Mountain, it is one of the main rainstorm centers and frequent areas in the province.

1958 started construction, and 1959 closed the dam in winter. 1June, 960, the small section of the dam reached the design elevation. Due to the poor construction quality, it was decided to postpone the dam construction in June 196 1. 1970, the revolutionary Committee of Xuchang area put forward the scheme of once-in-a-century flood design and once-in-a-thousand flood check, and determined the total storage capacity as1570,000 cubic meters with a benefit of 70.4 million cubic meters on the principle of not flooding Guaihe Town of Fangcheng County.

Liu xiumiao

Liuxiu Temple is located in Ye Yi Town, 0/5 km south of Yexian County, covering an area of nearly 30 mu. It was built by Liu Zhuang, the fourth son of Liu Xiu (reigned in 57-75 AD) in the Han Dynasty, to show his father's great achievements in the Battle of Kunyang. At first, it was only built for Liu Xiu, but after several renovations, many temples and statues were added. Today, in addition to Guangwu Hall, there are also large halls such as Zhenwu Hall and Sanqing Hall in Liuxiu Temple. Yuan Tianxi pointed to a large piece of land outside Liuxiu Temple and told reporters that it was said that these lands were all owned by Liuxiu Temple. The original Taoist priest of Liuxiu Temple was surnamed Gao. Later generations renamed a nearby village Gaodaoshi Village, which is now Gaodaoshi Village in the old county and township, in order to commemorate his achievements in saving the wounded and saving the dying and giving favors widely. According to Ye County Records, Liuxiu Temple was built at the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty by Emperor Gaozu Liu Zhuang to show his father Liuxiu's great achievements in the Battle of Kunyang. This is a ternary temple building facing south, and its huge scale and magnificent momentum have impressed future generations. Looking closely at the main entrance, the couplets on the two stone pillars in front of the door are particularly eye-catching, which reads the words "White cranes return to the Millennium Ginkgo Lijiang River, and the first temple scene in China in the depths of colorful clouds". From this couplet alone, we can see that Liuxiu Temple occupies an important position in Taoism in the Central Plains.

Ecological park

Jue Yuan Temple

In Tianzhuang Township, 8 kilometers south of Yexian County, there is a temple built on a slope called Yuanjue Temple and Caosipo. The slope is named after the temple, which was built on the slope. In the past, the grass beside the bell pavilion in the temple was evergreen all year round and would not wither, so it was called "grass temple", and it was also commonly known as "grass temple" because the local temples were not divided. Far away from the surrounding villages, slightly empty. The temple is built in a high place along the southern slope, facing the horse and river in the south, and standing at the mountain gate looking south, which can be described as climbing high and looking far.
