Administrative region of Zongzhai town

It governs seven administrative villages: Sanqibao Village, Xidian Village, Shahe Village, Shageleng Village, Shanchang Village, Shanzha Village, Zongzhai Village, Shuangzha Village, Qingquan Village and Dianzha Village. Note: Pailu Village and Sanqibao Village were merged into Sanqibao Village; Shuangzha Village and Shuangming Village merged into Shuangzha Village.

Zongzhai Town was called "Yongding Fort" in ancient times, and it was named after the left-west expedition in Qing Dynasty. Since ancient times, Zongzhai has been "the main road of foreign tributes, the throat of Hexi security, the crossroads of east-west traffic and the important town of military frontier defense", and once "merchants gathered, tea and horses exchanged markets, and commerce flourished".
