Application for residence visa in Thailand
(1) Application for Residence Qualification
-Passports must have non-immigrant visas.
-You have obtained a temporary residence permit for one year, and you must live continuously for at least three years before you can apply.
(2) Date of application acceptance
There is no fixed time for accepting applications every year. Therefore, the law requires the State Council's approval, and then the Ministry of the Interior will set the number of foreigners accepting entry and residence, and then formally accept the application. During the application acceptance period, the application will be closed on the last working day of each year.

2. Application for temporary residence for those who have invested not less than 3 million baht in Thailand.
1. Qualifications of the applicant
1. 1 Passport must have a non-immigrant visa, but it is not limited to the five types of visa numbers.
1.2 There must be supporting documents to prove that the funds remitted to Thailand from abroad are not less than 3 million baht, which were remitted from abroad by the foreigners who applied for it, or the applicants received the funds remitted from abroad.
1.3 A certificate certifying that the capital of not less than 3 million baht has been transferred abroad for investment, regardless of whether it belongs to one business or several businesses in total.
(1) Time deposits must be deposited in state-owned banks (Taijing Bank, Savings Bank, Rural Cooperative Bank, Greater Dana Bank, Jinghua Bank, Kyoto Bank, and Civilian Residential Bank).

Foreigners with Asian nationality can apply to the second group of the second command room of the first section of the Immigration Bureau at 287-3905. 4. Time limit for review and completion of application submission

3. Apply for an entry visa for temporary residence (non-immigrant visa code O-A). Foreigners over 55 years old will enter Thailand for temporary residence for no more than one year.
There are two ways to apply for an entry visa with code O-A, that is, to apply abroad or to apply in Thailand.
I. Applications from abroad
1. 1 Foreigners can apply for visas at Thai embassies and consulates abroad. The following documents are required:
(1) visa application form.
(2) A copy of the passport, or a certificate that replaces the passport, with the validity period exceeding 1 June.
(3) Having a bank deposit equivalent to not less than 800,000 baht or a monthly income of not less than 65,000 baht, or having a bank deposit and [(monthly income) x 12] * * * not less than 800,000 baht.
1.2 After receiving the application, the foreign embassy or consulate shall submit the documents mentioned in the first paragraph to the Immigration Bureau for examination.
1.3 After the examination, the Immigration Bureau shall notify the Aliens Affairs and Visa Bureau of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs within 7 working days, and notify the relevant embassies and consulates abroad of the photos.
Second, the application in Thailand.
(1) The hospital or nursing home is responsible for the application.
(2) An application is made by an institution or unit recognized by the Immigration Bureau.
(3) The application shall be made by the foreigner's parents, spouse or family members of the child under guardianship.

The required documents are as follows:

(2) The passport copy or replacement passport certificate is valid for at least 1 year and 6 months.
(3) The bank deposit is equivalent to not less than 800,000 baht, or the monthly salary is not less than 65,000 baht, or there is a certificate of deposit and [(monthly/income) x 12] not less than 800,000 baht.
2.2 The application shall be made by the agency recognized by the Immigration Bureau, and all necessary documents, such as hospitals or sanatoriums, shall be submitted, as shown in item 2. 1.
2.3 Parents, spouses and legitimate children of foreigners may apply on their behalf.

Remarks: The end of review will be notified within 7 working days after the end of review.
