Guangfu culture, also known as Guangfu people, refers to the Cantonese-speaking Han residents in guangzhou fu, Pearl River Delta, Guangdong Province.

Before the Song Dynasty, the literary center of Guangdong was always located in the north of Guangdong. Since the Song Dynasty, the Pearl River Delta has gradually replaced northern Guangdong as the literary center of Lingnan. He Li was an influential figure in the whole country at that time, and was the pioneering work of Lingnan Song Studies. In the 18th year from Yuan Dynasty to Zheng Zheng (1358), more than a dozen poets established Nanyuan Poetry Society in Nanyuan, Guangzhou.

Representative figures are Sun Xu, Huang Zhe, Wang Zuo, Li De and Zhao Jie, and they are also called "Five Poets of Nanyuan". They created a new situation of Lingnan poetry, and formed the "Lingnan Poetry School", which became one of the five schools of China poetry in the early Ming Dynasty. Lingnan poetry school keeps pace with the other four poetry schools.

In terms of festival customs, it not only inherits the traditional culture of the Central Plains, but also has local characteristics. In Guangzhou, there is a flower market on New Year's Eve. It's been around since Nanhan. By the middle of the19th century, the flower market was scheduled to be held a few days before New Year's Eve. Flowers and trees poured into the city, and the citizens held hands to "walk the flower street", which was very lively. Up to now, it has become more and more popular, and many cities in the Pearl River Delta have this custom.

2. Dietary customs:

Guangzhou's food culture is famous at home and abroad. Cantonese cuisine is one of the four major cuisines in China, which is characterized by imitation and innovation, extensive materials, exotic materials, exquisite ingredients, exquisite workmanship, image-oriented, various varieties, different flavors and appropriate shades.

3. Opera music:

Cantonese opera, sung in Cantonese dialect, is the most popular and influential local drama in Guangdong. Cantonese opera is formed and developed on the basis of the continuous integration of various foreign operas, local operas and folk rap art. Later, some western musical instruments were boldly used as accompaniment instruments, which greatly enhanced the effect of comparing singing and dramatic movements.

Since the Ming and Qing Dynasties, Guangdong painting circle has made great progress, with a large number of talents, unique styles and diverse techniques. Its representative figures are: Lin Liang freehand brushwork flowers and birds in Nanhai; Dongguan Zhang Mu, famous for painting horses; Gao Yan Xinhui people, good at landscapes; Li Jian's poems and paintings in Shunde are unique; Su is a native of Surenshan, Shunde, especially good at numbers; Pay attention to Panyu, flowers, and chrysanthemums that are natural.

5. Garden culture:

Lingnan Garden mainly refers to Guangfu Garden in the Pearl River Delta, which is one of the three schools of traditional gardening art in China. In the early Qing Dynasty, after the governance of Shunzhi, Kangxi and Yongzheng dynasties, the economic order was basically stable, social wealth had accumulated to a certain extent, and garden construction began one after another, basically forming three centers: Beijing, Jiangnan and Pearl River Delta.
