Where did Kaifeng Jews come from? After living in China for thousands of years, why not go back to Israel?

Kaifeng Jews first came from Persia and Central Asia, and they came to China in the Tang Dynasty.

Despite living in China for thousands of years, Kaifeng Jews did not return to Israel for several reasons:

Secondly, Kaifeng Jews established families and enterprises in China, and they made important contributions in the fields of commerce, medicine and culture. Their life in China has been stable and prosperous, and they have no strong sense of urgency to return to Israel.
