The process of applying for an Australian work visa

Australia 457 work visa is divided into three steps: company sponsorship, nomination and visa.

1. The responsibility is to apply for the guarantee qualification of the employing company. Every Australian employment company must successfully obtain the guarantee qualification before making a nomination. The Australian Immigration Bureau will focus on the business situation, economic ability and whether it meets the training requirements of Australian foreign employees. Among them, the training requirement is the key requirement and the only quantitative standard in the application for guarantee qualification. If you can't meet the training requirements, even if you are in good business and financial condition, you can't get the guarantee qualification of the employing company.

2. Nomination is to nominate visa applicants. After obtaining the guarantee qualification recognized by the Immigration Bureau, the Australian employer company may apply to the Australian Immigration Bureau for nomination of designated foreign employees. There are two key points in this application: a. The employing company must prove to the Australian Immigration Bureau that the annual salary paid by the sponsoring employer to the nominated foreign employees is in line with the market wage rate and not lower than the salary level of local employees in Australia; B. The employing company shall prove the necessity of the nominated foreign employees and the benefits to the development of the company.

3. The visa is the last step of the visa application, which can be submitted together with the nomination application, but before the nomination application is passed, the Australian 457 work visa application will not be approved. In this step of application, the visa officer will focus on the applicant's education and training background, work experience and skill level, and finally decide whether the applicant's education, work experience and English ability are qualified for the nominated position, and make corresponding contributions to the company's development.
