Fushun City is located at east longitude 123 degrees 39 minutes to north latitude 125 degrees 28 minutes to 4 1 degrees 4/minutes to 42 degrees 38 minutes, in the east of Liaoning Province, China, 45 kilometers away from the provincial capital Shenyang. The city has jurisdiction over four districts (Xinfu District, Wanghua District, Dongzhou District and Shuncheng District) and three counties (Qingyuan County and Shuncheng District). The city covers an area of 675 square kilometers. Fushun is a multi-ethnic mixed area with 34 ethnic groups, including 33 ethnic minorities.
