1. Visa conditions

Applicants for Australian tourist visa (category 676) must meet any of the following conditions:

7. Go to Australia to participate in informal courses or training within 3 months (inclusive). Applicants who go to Australia for vacation, sightseeing

or visiting relatives and friends can also apply for a sponsored relative visit visa (category 679) if they have relatives in Australia and are willing to sponsor them. Applications for sponsored family visit visas need to be submitted in Australia and approved by the local Australian Immigration Bureau.

Tourist visa (category 676 and 679) holders are not allowed to work while in Australia.

2. Period of stay

According to different circumstances, a tourist visa can be issued as a single or multiple entry visa. The period of stay in Australia is 3 months, 6 months or 12 months each time. months. Applicants can apply for the corresponding number of entries and length of stay as needed. The visa officer will decide whether to grant the corresponding visa based on the applicant's personal situation.

Under normal circumstances, a 3-month tourist visa can meet the needs of the vast majority of visitors to Australia. If a visa is issued for a longer stay, certain conditions need to be met. 5. How to apply

It is recommended to submit the tourist visa application by mail. Please mail your application form, passport and application materials to the relevant visa office.

When submitting the application, please make sure you remit the correct visa application fee and include a copy of the postal remittance receipt with the application materials.

Applications submitted to the Beijing and Guangzhou visa offices also need to pay an EMS courier fee of 20 yuan for returning the passport and visa results (23 yuan for the Guangzhou visa office). Passport applications submitted at the Shanghai Visa Office will be delivered via SF Express.

You can also choose to submit your visa application in person. If you choose to submit your application in person, the visa application fee can be paid in cash. But this does not mean that a visa application submitted in person will be processed faster than an application submitted by post.

6. Visa requirements
