The genealogy research (materials) by Akigoro Tokugawa (Oriental Library of Japan, 1960) records the genealogy of China collected in Japan, the United States and China, and makes a supplement in the genealogy research of China (Volume II) published by 1982 (Japan Society for the Promotion of Academic Studies). China Genealogy Catalogue of American Genealogy Society compiled by Americans (Taiwan Province Provincial Text Publishing House, 1984).

Luo Xianglin, A Study of China Genealogy in Hong Kong (China Institution, Hong Kong, 197 1). The second part introduces the brief list of Guangdong genealogy collected by Guangdong Provincial Library and the genealogy catalogue collected by Hanhe Library of Harvard Yanjing Society. In Taiwan Province Province, Wang Shiqing and others compiled the first draft of the Catalogue of Public and Private Tibetan Genealogy in Taiwan Province Province in 1970s (No.4, Volume 29, Documents of Taiwan Province Province), the first draft of the Catalogue of China Genealogy Materials in the Collection of Chinese Literature edited by Sheng Qingyi (Lianjing Publishing House, 1982), and the Taiwan Province Provincial Genealogy Catalogue compiled by Zhao Zhenji, etc. In Chinese mainland, this work is also under way. The genealogy research (data part) sorts out the data of clan economy and education, clan education, clan rules and customs, ancestral graves, examples and styles of genealogy compilation. Sheng Qingyi edited and published the first and second episodes of Selected Cases of China's Genealogy Collected in National Studies Archives, with a total of 20 volumes * * *; Taiwan Province Province also published Family Tree Family Instructions Collection, which extracted more than 100 family instructions from dozens of genealogies and sorted them out. As for special materials, Luo Xianglin's Collection of Hakka Historical Materials (China Society, Kowloon, 1965) and * * * contain Hakka genealogies with 40 surnames and 86 genealogies, which are important materials for studying the development of Hakka in the southeast coastal areas of China. Selected genealogical data of Fujian-Taiwan relations (Fujian People's Publishing House, 1985), edited by Zhuang Weiwen and Wang Lianmao, has more than 300,000 words. The first part is about immigration, and the second part is about politics, culture, economy, marriage and clan.
