The difference between overseas Chinese and China people.

The difference between Chinese and overseas Chinese lies in different nationalities, different laws and different definitions.

1, different nationalities

Chinese Americans do not have the nationality of China people. Chinese-Americans are children and their descendants born in China and naturalized in the host country. They acquired the nationality of the host country at birth. Overseas Chinese refer to China people who have China nationality and live abroad.

2. Abide by different laws.

China people are not bound and governed by the laws of China, but only by the laws of the host country; Overseas Chinese are China people living abroad, and they are bound and governed by the laws of China.

3. Different definitions

Chinese Americans are descendants of Chinese who were born in the host country and obtained the nationality of the host country. Overseas Chinese are natural persons with China nationality who are designated to live abroad, but they do not include those who travel and visit abroad, workers and technicians sent by the government to other countries to assist in construction, public servants sent by the state to foreign countries and international students studying abroad. People of China descent who have joined or acquired foreign nationality cannot be regarded as overseas Chinese.

Chinese and modern Chinese

China people are not only overseas Chinese, but also China people who have been naturalized as foreign nationals and emigrated to other parts of the world. Overseas Chinese refer only to China citizens living abroad. In People's Republic of China (PRC)'s law, the so-called China people refer to people who are related to the Chinese nation and whose nationality is not China who robbed Sichuan.

Modern China people refer to those who are stipulated that China people living abroad have obtained nationality outside China (also known as China people with X nationality) and those who were born abroad and have foreign nationality according to the laws of the country of birth. In other words, legally speaking, they are no longer citizens of China. But by blood, they are descendants of China people.
