Why did Deng Qingming replace Zhihu?

There is new news on Shenzhou XII, which everyone cares about most. The Shenzhou-12 astronaut flight crew consists of three astronauts, Nie Haisheng, Liu Boming and Tang Hongbo, among whom Nie Haisheng is the commander. The reserve astronauts are Zhai Zhigang, Wang Yaping and Ye Guangfu.

It is not surprising that Nie Haisheng was the commander of Shenzhou XII. Born in 1964, he has performed many space missions, namely Shenzhou VI and Shenzhou X, and served as the commander of Shenzhou X.

Liu Boming was also the first astronaut. He once carried out a space mission.

Tang Hongbo is the second batch of astronauts in China. He hasn't carried out a space mission yet, and was selected as a backup astronaut for the Shenzhou XI mission.

This list is different from the previous list. Prior to this, the list of three astronauts in the flight crew was reported: Nie Haisheng, Deng Qingming and Ye Guangfu, and the alternate astronauts were Liu Boming, Chen Dong and Zhang Lu.

It is worth noting that Yang Liwei, deputy chief designer of China's manned spaceflight project, made it clear in an interview that there were no female astronauts on Shenzhou 12, but there were female astronauts among the backup astronauts. What's going on here?

16 astronaut

Now, there are two groups of astronauts in China. China's first astronauts were 14, including Yang Liwei, Nie Haisheng and Liu Boming. We are most familiar with them. Among them, five astronauts who have not performed space missions have retired, leaving only nine astronauts. Of the nine astronauts, eight have carried out space missions, and only Deng Qingming has not yet carried out the mission.

There are 7 astronauts in the second batch, including two female astronauts: Liu Yang and Wang Yaping. At present, two female astronauts have all performed their tasks.

In order to successfully launch Shenzhou XII and ensure foolproof, the first and second *** 16 in-service astronauts in China participated in relevant training and participated in the whole process. Even Yang Liwei himself took part in the training, even though the chances of flying missions were slim.

The same is true for female astronauts. Although there is no plan for female astronauts on Shenzhou XII, there are also two female astronauts in China to participate in the whole process, even if it is a backup.

In astronaut training, the organization selected the best from 16 astronauts, selected 3 astronauts and 3 backup astronauts, and the rest were backup astronauts.

In this list of astronauts, it is a pity that one astronaut was unsuccessful. He is the only one of the first astronauts in China who served but never performed a mission. You know, even if he has never performed a space mission, his training intensity is no less than that of an astronaut who has performed a mission, but he has never received flowers and applause like an astronaut who has performed a mission.

At present, Deng Qingming is 55 years old and missed Shenzhou 12. I wonder if he can be selected for Shenzhou XIII in three months.

The mission of three astronauts

Shenzhou 12 manned mission is the first manned mission of China Space Station. Three astronauts will rendezvous and dock with Tianhe core module independently and quickly on Shenzhou 12. After docking, Shenzhou-12 spacecraft will form an assembly with Tianhe core module and Tianzhou-2 cargo spacecraft. In the next three months, astronauts will complete extravehicular activities, extravehicular operations, regenerative life support and space material supply in Tianhe core cabin.

According to the decision of the General Command, Shenzhou 12 will be launched at 9: 22 on June 17. In order to ensure the communication between the ground and the sky, astronauts will implement a synchronized work and rest system. After the completion of the three-month mission, the three astronauts will return to the Dongfeng landing site in the spacecraft return module.

Now China is in the construction stage of the space station, and there will be many launch missions this year and next. Although three astronauts will return to Earth after a three-month space mission, at the same time, China will launch Tianzhou-3 and Shenzhou-13 successively. Like Shenzhou-12, Shenzhou-13 is composed of three astronauts, except that the three astronauts of Shenzhou-13 will be stationed in the Tianhe core cabin for six months, and then all the astronauts will perform long-term tasks for six months.

The third batch of astronauts

The life span of China Space Station is 10 years, or even higher. It is estimated that three astronauts will carry out space missions every six months, and the demand for astronauts is very great. However, at present, there are only 16 astronauts in service and capable of flying in China, and the first batch of astronauts are on the high side, mostly around 55 years old. How to solve the high demand for astronauts in China Space Station?

First of all, the first and second astronauts are still the main force. In order to ensure that every mission is foolproof, today's first and second astronauts must be ready to fly at any time and can't relax for a moment.

Secondly, in order to meet the demand of China's space station for astronauts, China has selected the third batch of astronauts, including 18. Different from the first batch of astronauts, the second batch of astronauts were selected from pilots, and the third batch of astronauts were mainly composed of air force pilots, scientists and engineers from scientific research institutes and experts from scientific research units, mainly to prepare for the flight of the space station in the operation stage.

Only the third batch of astronauts need to go through 3-4 years of periodic basic training to have the ability to perform tasks. Now the third batch of astronauts have just started training and are temporarily unable to perform space missions.
