Which is more useful: English, Japanese, Russian, French or German?

I know English and French, a little bit of German and Japanese, and only a little bit of Russian. I am currently studying in the Americas and have been to England and France. I would like to briefly share my views.

English can be used in almost all countries, except for some particularly special areas, such as Quebec in Canada and some primitive areas. Moreover, in daily life, English is spoken almost all over the world. So I think no matter what language you learn, it’s best not to give up on English. It will be of great help to your life, study, and work.

French is almost universal in European countries, Canada and some former French colonies, so it is also very easy to use. Moreover, most people will look at people who speak French differently, especially foreigners. They like people who can speak multiple languages ??very much. It is very useful whether they are applying for a job or studying. If you are an immigrant, such as in Canada, French can also help you gain points.

The scope of Japanese is relatively narrow. It is good for those who want to study, work, and immigrate to Japan. Others just need to understand a little bit.

German is very popular in Europe, almost like Spanish. For many Americans and Europeans, if you know German or Spanish, your life, communication, work, and study will be much smoother.

As for Russian, I don’t know much about it, but I think it will be very useful for friends who want to go to Russia, or people who live on the border between China and Russia. Of course, China and Russia also have a lot of cooperation, and those who are inclined in this regard can choose.
