1, Erlang Mountain Scenic Area

Erlang Mountain Scenic Area is located in the south bank of Shimantan Reservoir in wugang city, Pingdingshan City, Henan Province, and is one of the core scenic spots of Shimantan National Forest Park. Erlang Mountain is named after the legend that Erlang God drives the sun with mountains. It consists of seven peaks: Jianshan, Pingshan, Aoshan, Xieshan, Liangshan, Gushan and Changling. The scenic spot has developed three peaks, namely Jianshan, Pingshan and Changling, covering an area of 22 square kilometers.

2. Shimantan Scenic Area

Shimantan National Water Conservancy Scenic Area is located in the east section of Longquan Road, Wugang City, adjacent to the urban area. It is a leisure and holiday tourist area centered on Longquan Lake.

Dengtai is a national 4A-level scenic spot, 20 kilometers southeast of Wugang City. It is the core scenic spot of Shimantan National Forest Park, with a forest coverage rate of over 96% and an area of 56 square kilometers. The former Vice Chairman of the Central Military Commission, General Zhang Wannian, inscribed the name of the park as Hutoushan Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery. There are 26 New Fourth Army soldiers who died in the battle against Japanese invaders in the cemetery.

The cemetery consists of entrance gate, mausoleum memorial area, hero statue, arch bridge, square pavilion, New Fourth Army Revolutionary War Museum and hilltop monument. Among them, two retired anti-aircraft guns and planes were installed on the booth.
