Road surname distribution
The origin of the imperial clan of Lu is very complicated, and the figures of the imperial clan who went down in history in the Han Dynasty have always attracted people's attention, such as Lu Wenshu in Julu Dongli (now Pingxiang, Hebei), Lu Wenshu in Yuyang (now Miyun, Beijing), Lu Jian in Shujun (now Chengdu, Sichuan), Lu Cui in Chenliu (now Kaifeng, Henan) and Lu Fo in Taiyuan (now Taiyuan, Shanxi). It can be seen that the Lu clan has been distributed in northern land such as Hebei, Beijing, Henan and Shanxi, and some of them have settled in Sichuan.
During the Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties, the Lu clan still flourished, especially in today's Henan Province, where there are five counties: Xiangcheng County, Chenliu County, Henan County, Neihuang County and Yingchuan County. It shows that in Xiangcheng, Kaifeng, Luoyang, Neihuang, Yuxian and other places in Henan, the leading clans are prosperous and have outstanding scenery. In addition, the Lushi people also formed large settlements in Daming, Hebei, Guyuan, Ningxia and Xi 'an, Shaanxi, and the population flourished until the Sui and Tang Dynasties. In particular, it can be mentioned that the Lushi family, which flourished in Daming, Hebei Province today, is now history and famous. At this time, the violent social unrest also led to a large number of Lu clans going south to the south, forming the Dongyang County of Lu in Jinhua, Zhejiang Province.
During the Sui and Tang Dynasties, the Lu family still flourished and expanded to Shandong Province with Yangpinglu County as the center. For example, Yan Lu, the prime minister of the Tang Dynasty, was the Guan family of Weizhou (now guanxian, Shandong Province). His family background was quite famous in the local area and his population was prosperous. Later, Lu Yan was somehow demoted to the ridge, and his son took refuge in Hunan when Lu entered Hunan and lived in Qiyang, Yongzhou.
During the Song Dynasty, Lu Zhen moved from Qiyang, Yongzhou to Xiangtan, Tanzhou (now Xiangtan, Hunan).
At the beginning of Ming Dynasty, Shanxi Lushi, as one of the surnames of Sophora japonica settlers in Hongdong of Ming Dynasty, moved to Henan, Hebei, Shandong, Tianjin and other places.
By the Qing Dynasty, the Lu clan was scattered all over the country because of being an official, making a living and avoiding disasters.
For example, the Lushi family in Ningling County, Shangqiu City, whose ancestors moved from Hongdong County to Ningling County in the 22nd year of Ming Hongwu (AD 1389), has been circulating for more than 600 years, with 26 generations. Now the family members live in Ningling, Sui County, Zhecheng County, Quan Min, Xiayi, Yucheng, Liangyuan, Suiyang District, Zhoukou Development Zone and Zhoukou City. In the spring of 2000, the genealogy was rebuilt, with more than 16 thousand people.
Today, Lu's clansmen are widely distributed throughout the country, especially in Hebei, Shandong, Anhui, Henan and other provinces. The Lu nationality in these four provinces accounts for about 70% of the national Lu population.
