How to contact Luodai ancient town
Brief introduction of scenic spots in Luodai ancient town;
Luodai Ancient Town is located 10 km north of Longquan Town, at the foot of Er 'e Mountain in the middle of Longquan Mountain. It was built during the Shu and Han Dynasties in the Three Kingdoms, and was named after the jade belt of Liu Chan, the ruler of the last Shu and Han Dynasties, fell into the octagonal well next to the town. There are more than 20,000 Hakka residents in the town, accounting for 90% of the town. Therefore, it is known as the first Hakka town in western China. They often use a dialect called Hakka dialect, which contains some sounds of ancient Chinese. Luodai people call Hakka dialect "Tukan dialect", which is consistent with the standard pronunciation of Meixian dialect in Guangdong. For example, if you dress, its words are "wearing a shirt" and "falling into the water when it rains".
The ancient town of Luodai preserves a relatively complete Hakka culture, and most of the surrounding villagers are descendants of Guangdong immigrants. When you walk in, you can feel the rich Hakka tradition. There are many beautifully built ancient buildings in Luodai Ancient Town, such as Guangdong Guild Hall and Jiangxi Guild Hall.
Since the Ming and Qing Dynasties, it has become the main naturalization place for immigrants from other provinces, especially in the early Qing Dynasty, when immigrants from Guangdong, Hubei, Jiangxi, Shaanxi, Shanxi and other provinces moved in one after another. As a result, immigrants from the north and the south are mixed, and the southern accent is transferred to the north.
The existing "Guangdong Guild Hall" (formerly known as "Nanhua Palace") in Luodai Town Street is a masterpiece of Sichuan Hakka architecture and the primary symbol of "the first Hakka town in Sichuan". The guild hall was built in the 10th year of Qing Qianlong (1746), with a total area of 3044.75 square meters. It is the most complete and largest Hakka guild hall in Sichuan at present. 1981April was announced as a municipal cultural relics protection unit in Chengdu. The main building consists of three halls: front, middle and back. Among them, the back hall is a two-story, double-eaves, wooden building built on the mountain, with yellow glazed tiles at the top and high arched wind and fire walls on both sides, giving people a sense of grandeur, Feng Ling's desire to fly and simplicity. In addition, there are nine couplets in the museum. These couplets not only cherish the memory of their predecessors' hard work, but also have a long-term yearning for their hometown landscape.
