China is a big country in the world, and few countries can compare with China. However, when the first emperor unified the world for the first time in history, he sent 500 thousand troops to the north and south to conquer everywhere. Even the northern and northern parts of Viet Nam belonged to the territory of the Qin Dynasty at that time, and the Annan area was actually included in the territory of China at that time. Later, this place formed a separatist regime. When the Qin Dynasty ruled the world, Annan was indeed the land of China. Although it later developed to the end of the year, the world was in chaos, and a general of the imperial court wanted to take advantage of the chaos to form his own independence, so he chose to establish his own separatist forces here. However, after decades of disputes in the Central Plains, the Han Dynasty was successfully established. Although this place is nominally self-reliant, it still respects the Han Dynasty as orthodox, surrendering to the Central Plains Dynasty and paying tribute every year. Later, after the death of the leader guarding the Annan area, Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty began to send troops to prepare for the complete recovery of South Vietnam, and then divided the place into nine counties. At present, most of central and northern Vietnam are three counties in the Han Dynasty.

Because this place is far from the Central Plains and belongs to the southwest border of the country, it is difficult for the country to recruit troops, so it is easy for this place to break out of rebellion. This behavior can first spread the civilization of the Central Plains to a certain extent. On the other hand, at that time, the country also wanted to safeguard the unity of its territory through such coercive means. Although there were frequent rebellions in Annan area later, because the country attached great importance to it, it was firmly controlled by the Central Plains Dynasty and there was no big trouble.

Later, after the rebellion here was put down, the Eastern Han Dynasty wanted to completely sinicize this place, so it abolished the original system of this place. After that, all the laws in this place were mainly from the Han Dynasty, which also weakened the strength of this place. The officials stationed here are basically sent down by the central government itself, and a series of management is very strict. Later, the Eastern Han Dynasty also dug canals here to irrigate farmland, which made the agriculture here develop. After a series of measures of combining leniency with severity, on the whole, the control of this place in the Han Dynasty was very stable, and some local talents were often recommended to be officials in Chang 'an.

Because it is on the border, there are often small rebellions here, but they are all small tricks and can't afford to toss up big waves. The control of the Central Plains Dynasty has been strengthened and never relaxed. Until the Sui and Tang Dynasties, the control of the Central Plains Dynasty on this place was further deepened and strengthened. The Sui Dynasty set up a county here, and after the establishment of the Tang Dynasty, it was changed to the general government, which directly governed seven or eight counties. Although the Annan area is vast, there are only more than 20,000 troops stationed here all the year round. Among these more than 20,000 people, there are more than 4,000 troops stationed by the central government alone, which shows that the Tang Dynasty attached great importance to this place.

Although there were frequent rebellions in this place, the Tang Dynasty was able to strictly control the situation here even when the national strength was seriously declining. Later, in the more than 200 years under the rule of the Tang Dynasty, there were five large-scale rebellions in this place. The dominant forces in this place have tried many times to force the court to recognize their independent status. Although it is far away, every time the country counterattacks this place, it is very timely. Even in the decades before the country's demise, the imperial court did not relax its control here, so the judgment here did not form any big climate in the end.

Later, after the demise of the Tang Dynasty, separatist forces appeared in various places, but later the Southern Han Dynasty was effectively controlled. Although the rebels here often fought against the Central Plains dynasty, there have been no major problems for more than 50 years. In fact, Annan and Nanhan belong to separatist forces, and there is no difference at all in essence. But Annan still surrendered to the rule of the Central Plains, but it was also from this time that the people here began to leave the Central Plains. It was not until 968 AD that this place established its own vassal state and officially began their independence.

At this time, the military strength of the Song Dynasty was still there. If we can send troops to counter the rebellion in time, it will be easy to recover this place. At that time, the generals of the Song Dynasty also told the emperor to go south to recover this place while the army was relatively strong. Zhao Kuangyin actually thought that the ultimate demise of the powerful dynasty was due to the Nanzhao disaster, so he drew a dividing line directly, saying that he would never go to Yunnan again, which can be said to be a direct abandonment of the rule of southwest China.

Although Zhao Kuangyin made such a serious mistake, the later emperor still had a chance to correct it. When Emperor Taizong led an army to attack this place, the rebels were also very afraid that if they continued to resist, they would bring disaster to themselves, so they quickly apologized. As a result, Emperor Taizong accepted their apology directly, knowing that if he could continue to counter the rebellion at that time, he would win in the end. In the next 300 years, the Song Dynasty blindly made concessions and compromises, which made Annan, who had no influence, develop into a climate. Later, the Yuan Dynasty sent troops to conquer this place three times, and all failed in the end.

After the establishment of political power in the Ming Dynasty, they chose to recapture Annan again, but at this time, the local people already thought that they were independent from the heart and completely alienated from the Central Plains. Even if they can conquer this area, how will they rule it in the future?

In our view, it is foolish for Song Dynasty to choose to give up its military rule over Annan. If the later dynasties did not re-define the rule of southwest China as an important national policy, perhaps Lianyun Nandu is no longer under the rule of China.

Ironically, the rulers of Song Dynasty, who thought they were smart, thought that domestic thieves were the most difficult thing to guard against, so they tried their best to seize the rights of their own people and let the disasters in the border areas go unchecked, leaving them completely out of the control of the Central Plains after the climate formed, leading to the loss of a large territory in China. Really stupid!
