Long Hufei's growing experience.

Ron Hu Fei (formerly known as Long Feihu) was born in Belfast, a small town near Christchurch in the South Island of New Zealand. His father immigrated to New Zealand from England in 1950s. He is an engineer and his mother is a housewife.

At the age of five, he entered the only primary school in Belfast. At that time, he found English difficult to read and his reading ability was worse than that of other children. But after simple pronunciation training and attractive story books, his reading ability began to improve gradually.

By the time he was seven or eight years old, he liked reading more and more. He spends a lot of time on fairy tales every day, and he especially likes adventure and conspiracy stories.

Since he learned to ride a bike, he borrowed books from the nearby public library almost every week for three or four kilometers, borrowing five or six books each time, and then taking them home to study slowly and deeply! In this stage of learning, dragon can gradually understand and study more, deeper and wider contents.

When I was about ten years old, I was already reading science fiction (his favorite story type), and I also read many books on anthropology, potential science and psychology. His most memorable peak was at the age of 1 1. Because he was interested in sleep learning, he wrote to the psychologists who studied this field in the Soviet Union, hoping that they could send the research report in this field. This is one of the main achievements of Mr. Long Hufei in his early years.

In addition to reading books, because he lives next to the countryside, Long Hufei has the opportunity to feel the charm of nature from an early age and can often get in touch with nature. This gives him the opportunity to infiltrate the laws of nature into his nervous system, so he will pay attention to the essence and internal laws of everything he meets in life and try his best to make projects and things conform to the laws of nature.

Because his family was not rich when he was a child, Long Hufei had the motivation to work and earn money very early. At the age of eleven, he went to the garage in the town to apply for a job. As a result, the boss was moved by his sincerity and gave him a job. So every Saturday, he cleans the garage floor. He persisted in this job for more than three years, during which he earned enough money. So when 14 years old, he bought a used car.

Since childhood, Long Hufei has been particularly fond of sports. 1 1 started to participate in the school badminton competition. In the year when he graduated from primary school, he even won the second place. 1 1 years old, he also began to enter the martial arts world and began to learn Japanese judo, laying a good foundation for future martial arts study. 1972, Long left Belfast Primary School and entered Kaibo Middle School. He takes the school bus to and from school for more than two hours every day. At that time, Kaibo Middle School was a newly established school, and there were only dragon classes in the school. Therefore, the students in his class naturally become the highest grade in the school and have been setting a precedent for the school.

Because this is a newly established school with no history and no fixed culture. As a result, the first batch of students and teachers naturally assumed the heavy responsibility of creating campus culture, which of course brought joy, sadness and ups and downs.

For generally mature schools, students' learning direction and curriculum will be very clear. For example, those who study liberal arts only study liberal arts, those who study science only study science, and those who study science only study science. However, in the year of studying in Dragon, there were too few students and too many teachers. Therefore, all students must study arts and science courses at the same time, and even have the opportunity to take science and engineering courses, such as carpentry, cooking and typing. For Long Hufei, this is a great pleasure, because he can get in touch with different fields, exercise different ways of thinking and master more skills. As an adult, he found that the benefits of these experiences far exceeded his imagination.

1972, Long Hu Fei, who entered middle school, began to learn French. At that time, all teachers used traditional teaching methods. As a result, he felt that the whole learning process was meaningless and particularly depressed. He didn't want to continue learning French at all, but like other subjects, he had to keep learning because of the lack of students. As a result, after studying for three years, he could hardly speak a word. He just used rote knowledge to cope with the exam and just passed.

From 65438 to 0974, Long Hufei met a particularly important turning point in his life. That year, his school had a student exchange activity between New Zealand and Tahiti. In the middle of the year, Tahiti will send students to New Zealand, and everyone will stay in different families in New Zealand for about two months, in order to learn English well (Tahiti is a French colony and French is the mother tongue). Then at the end of the year, New Zealand students will arrive in Tahiti and stay with local families for two months, with the aim of learning French well.

Fortunately, Long Hufei's parents agreed to let a Tahiti student live in his home and sponsored Long Hufei to live in Tahiti for two months at the end of the year. It can be said that the experience of 1974 has broadened Long Hufei's horizons and solved the French problem that has plagued him for many years. The Tahiti student who came to live in his house was a tall and handsome boy. They quickly established friendship, which aroused their interest and motivation in learning foreign languages, so they started to communicate with each other from the most basic communication and quickly learned some basic daily communication terms.

1at the end of 974, Long Hu flew to Tahiti, where he studied French for two months and solved daily communication problems while playing. In the whole process, he finally understood a very important truth. It's just that daily communication is not difficult and I don't know much. This dispelled his previous psychological resistance to French, and made him absorb French into his brain happily and smoothly, just like learning his mother tongue, which helped him open the door to French.

The experience of more than two months in Tahiti is completely superior to the French he has accumulated in years of class study, which has planted the seeds of new ideas for him in learning methods and helped him in learning. When he came home from Tahiti, he got almost full marks in the French exam in the next two years. He also participated in the French speech contest of all schools in Christchurch and easily won the second place, which was incredible two years ago.

Ron Hu Fei doesn't just care about his French in middle school. Before he went to Tahiti, French was definitely not worth considering. In recent years, he was more concerned about other issues and training various skills. At that time, his interest in sports and outdoor activities began to increase. Besides studying and reading, he spends the rest of his time taking part in different sports or outdoor activities. Although he likes judo very much, because of the teacher's departure, he turned to boxing and went to the gym to practice boxing actively every week. At the same time, he will spare two or three days a week to play squash, and he will be able to participate in the competition soon.

His father also likes all kinds of outdoor activities, so the father and son often go out to explore on weekends and drive up the mountain in winter to find the best ski resort in New Zealand for a day or two. In summer, they play with jet boats in the shallow rivers of New Zealand, challenging their navigation skills. Long Hu Fei often goes camping in the mountains of New Zealand for a few days with his classmates and backpacks.

At the same time, Long Hufei became increasingly interested in science, psychology and philosophy. Coupled with the solid foundation laid by himself for many years, in addition to attending classes and practicing sports, he continued to study anthropology, psychology, philosophy and other aspects. /kloc-before the age of 0/5, I began to have some knowledge and understanding of hypnosis and other aspects.

At this time, his awareness of environmental protection was also ignited.

In fact, the dragon's environmental awareness should have been established when he was five or six years old, because primary schools at that time often arranged tree planting activities and simply taught some environmental awareness, but it was a trivial matter, and the dragon didn't care much. Later, as he read more and more books, he began to realize the importance of environmental protection, but the influence of this information on him was far from enough to push him to take any substantive action.

So, at the age of 16, he met the second important turning point that affected his life. At that time, he liked to live a relatively free life, so he often rode his bike to the nearby mountains to get close to nature. When he sees a river, he goes fishing there, maybe swimming in cold water, or basking in the sun for a while. One day, he decided to swim across the river. The distance between the two banks of the river is about half a kilometer, and the river flows quickly, which has certain challenges to his physical fitness. He likes challenges very much, so he jumped into the water and rushed forward. As he approached the other side, he suddenly smelled a smell that made him feel uncomfortable. It turned out that there was wastewater discharged from factories by the river, and he just swam into the polluted stream. At that time, the water was very bad, and even almost brought him life-threatening.

This incident led to great changes in Long Hufei's environmental awareness. He made up his mind to make a contribution in this respect from understanding to special attention to essence. At this moment, there was a national article competition in New Zealand, the topic of which happened to be related to environmental protection, that is, how to save energy. Long Hu Fei decided to write an article to take part in the competition based on the different scientific topics he studied for many years and his experience in suburban life. As a result, he won the first place in the country! This small victory also had a great influence on him, which made him understand the core truth of "nothing is difficult in the world". 1977, Long Hufei entered the University of Canterbury for a three-year course. 1979 was selected for a one-year flying course because of his excellent academic performance, and obtained a first-class honorary master's degree in psychology at the end of 1980.

During his college years, besides psychology, he was still studying statistics, chemistry, zoology and computer, and he had a little contact with Chinese, but his teaching methods were too backward and he didn't persist after a few months. In the third and fourth years, he studied all psychology courses offered by Canterbury University, including behavioral psychology, cognitive psychology, perceptual psychology, biological psychology, mathematical psychology, social psychology, business psychology, clinical psychology, language psychology and psychophysiology. At that time, he began to discover a very important feature of himself, that is, his ability to integrate across fields. It is easier for many people to study a topic, and the more they learn, the more detailed they become. But Long Hufei found that he was different in this respect. Although he can delve into a subject, he is better at discovering the same laws between different fields, so he integrates them into higher laws and principles. When writing a thesis, I get the highest score because I can integrate the theory of memory in cognitive psychology and physiological psychology.

During college, he insisted on pursuing the peak of sports, riding a long-distance bike to school and home every day and taking part in squash competitions. In his sophomore year, he made new friends, overseas Chinese in Malaysia, and they soon became good friends. His friend used to be a black belt and a Taekwondo teacher, so Long Hu flew into the circle of Taekwondo training and participated in Taekwondo sparring competitions many times during his college years. Practicing taekwondo became an important part of his life at that time.

Long Hu Fei had learned to dive in college, so in the summer years, he would drive on the road with his friends every weekend, stay at the seaside for a few days, dive and fish, which was the most free and natural memory.

After entering the university, Long won a subsidized scholarship from the government because of his excellent performance in the senior high school entrance examination, but this is far from enough for his tuition and living expenses, so he needs to find a part-time job in the winter and summer vacations to earn enough money to support his tuition for one year. 19 years old, that is, when he was a junior, he had moved out of his home, found a place to live in the city, and needed to survive on his own. During his college years, he worked as a lumberjack, tanner, hotel kitchen maid and circuit board technician. So he successfully supported himself, was able to buy a house and successfully completed college. He not only got a degree, but also paved the way for freedom. At the same time, I also met many people from all walks of life and broadened my horizons.

After graduation, Long was invited to cooperate with university professors for half a year to study the relationship between drinking and traffic accidents. Before this study, there were many arguments that alcohol was the cause of traffic accidents, that is, there was a causal relationship between drinking and traffic accidents. However, after research, it is found that the causal relationship between drinking and car accidents does not exist. It can be said that drinking is related to car accidents, but it is definitely not a causal relationship. Because, many accidents are caused by emotional problems or physical fatigue, or have decided to commit suicide and then drink alcohol and deliberately crash. The final result of this research has aroused the concern of the society. 1At the end of 980, Long, who just graduated, and his old friends in Taekwondo decided to explore for a period of time. So they hitchhiked all the way around New Zealand, starting from Christchurch, and spent more than two months traveling around the South Island and the North Island of New Zealand. One night on the road, Long Hufei suddenly had an idea to explore China. I don't know why, but the motive is sufficient. When he arrived in Wellington, the capital, he visited many different departments of the New Zealand government. When he finally went to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, he found an international student exchange program between China and New Zealand. He told the diplomat on the spot that he must be selected into the list of five representatives of New Zealand students. Sure enough, half a year later, the New Zealand government openly recruited participants, and Long Hufei insisted on applying and was finally selected. In September 2006, he came to China.

In the first year, I studied in Beijing Language and Culture College for one year because I didn't understand a word of Chinese when I came to China. The school started less than two weeks ago. Seeing him practicing Taekwondo in the yard, several students in Beijing invited him to be a coach. As a result, he became an amateur taekwondo coach. From then on, everyone got together every night and practiced boxing together. Long Hufei also used this opportunity to create his own understandable input environment, so his Chinese level soon came up.

In this process, a Beijing folk martial arts master came to Long and began to teach him Beiquan. Although Long originally planned to study in Jinan in the second year, he decided to find a way to stay in Beijing because he met this Beijing master, so he began to apply for the Beijing Institute of Physical Education.

Originally, it was impossible for foreign students to enter Beijing Institute of Physical Education at that time, but he persisted, found many ways, wrote to the central leadership, and finally admitted to Beijing Institute of Physical Education to study sports psychology and China Wushu. As a result, he became the first westerner to be allowed to study martial arts in a physical education institute.

At the end of one year in Beijing Institute of Physical Education, he hurt his knee, so he had to go to the hospital. After the injury, Longhu flew all over China and found all the famous orthopedic surgeons and qigong masters. He visited and stayed in Guangzhou, Shanghai and Nanchang, and finally lived in Chengdu, Sichuan for half a year. Treat trauma under the guidance of famous local Chinese medicine practitioners, and practice martial arts with Sichuan Wushu team members every day. During his stay in Chengdu, Long lived in a room in Jinjiang Hotel. In the evening, he translated a famous China folk story: Shaolin Temple folk story.

Later 1986, Long's English version of Folk Tales of Shaolin Temple was officially published. In the process of translating Shaolin Temple folk stories, he found that a thorough understanding of a book is far more effective for foreign language learning than using courses that he is not interested in.

It can be said that this process is also an important reason why there are original English books as the main teaching materials in Kung Fu English system. In the early 1980s, Long's experience in China was rich and colorful. He deeply realized the characteristics of different cultures, linguistic shortcuts and the truth of life ... He wrote down the important arguments and stories of this experience in The Third Ear. 1985 is the peak period for foreign oil companies to explore oil in the South China Sea of China. Many different foreign companies set up oil exploration bases in Zhanjiang to look for oil in the South China Sea of China. Pennzoil, an American company, hired him as the chief translator in China, so he moved from Hongkong to Zhanjiang and began to do written and oral translation every day. It can be said that this period has opened his eyes! On his second day in office, he and his boss went to check the helicopter that had just been hoisted from the bottom of the sea. It turned out that two days ago, an accident happened. A helicopter with five people on board crashed into the sea, killing all the pilots and passengers on board. That year, the trust between China and foreign countries was extremely low, and no one wanted to trust anyone, so they began to blame each other for several months, and Long had to act as an interpreter all the time. He also needs to master geology from scratch very quickly, because both China and foreign countries have to negotiate to determine the exact location of the next oil well, and the negotiation process needs translation. When he received this task for the first time, Long Hu Fei didn't know geology at all. As a native English speaker, he almost never heard English words of geology. Therefore, for Long Hufei, the challenge he faces is to master both English and Chinese geological vocabulary!

Long Hufei didn't stay in the oil company for a long time, mainly because many oil wells in Nanhai, China were dry, so most foreign oil companies gave up exploration after drilling a few wells, and their employees went their separate ways and scattered around the world. After Long Hufei returned to Hong Kong, he began to explore new methods.

In 2003, SARS ravaged Chinese mainland and Hongkong. Meanwhile, most people choose to stay at home. Therefore, Long Hufei decided to use this time to write an English book to solve the problems in foreign language learning from the perspective of language psychology. The name of this book is The Third Ear. Because of the busy work, this book was not officially completed until the end of 2005. However, the manuscript has not only been recognized by the editors of the publishing house, but also been well verified. Mr Long Hu Fei came across some students who didn't learn a foreign language well and wanted to learn it again. After six months to 1 year of practice, several native English speakers successfully used the methods and viewpoints in the book and learned authentic Mandarin. The English version of The Third Ear was officially published in Hong Kong in 2006.

In the same year, the dragon met, and they began to study how to bring the concept of the third ear to China, and how to turn the learning method of the third ear into a learning tool that people in China can use. After more than a year of research and discussion, the two decided to develop a Kung Fu English self-study system to solve the English learning and environmental problems in China. The first generation of products entered the foreign company's market in China on July 1 2009, and entered the China market through Apple's online store at the end of 20 10. By May of 20 13, the English learning problems of thousands of adults in China have been solved.
