1. Article 12 of the Regulations on Household Registration in People's Republic of China (PRC) clearly stipulates the cancellation and relocation of criminals' household registration. Article 12 For an arrested criminal, the arresting organ shall, while notifying the criminal's family, notify the criminal's permanent residence registration organ to cancel his account.

After being released from prison, you need to report to the local police station with the certificate of release from prison and the household registration book, restore the household registration (the household registration was cancelled when serving the sentence), and then regularly cooperate with the police station and community workers to help and teach and report your thoughts, life and work. 2. Article 35 of the Prison Law: When a prisoner has served his sentence, the prison shall release him on schedule and issue a release certificate. Article 36 After a prisoner is released from prison, the public security organ shall register his household registration with the release certificate.

Household registration is a citizen's identity, and the household registration of the sentenced person will not be cancelled.

In 2003, the Ministry of Public Security issued 30 measures to facilitate the people and the people, canceled the cancellation of the registered permanent residence of those who were sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment and decided to reeducation through labor, and eliminated the formalities of moving out from the place where the registered permanent residence moved to the place where they served their sentences. For minors, the court makes a fixed-term imprisonment sentence of not more than five years, and when the procuratorate makes a relative non-prosecution decision, it also makes a decision to seal the criminal record of minors and a decision to seal the record of non-prosecution of minors. "Account cancellation" refers to the cancellation and cancellation of the original registered account.

Only under the following circumstances, the public security household registration department will cancel the account:

First, before joining the army, the police station can directly cancel its account with the list of eligible citizens issued by the People's Armed Forces Department;

Two, approved to settle in Hong Kong and Macao, with the notice of cancellation of residence for private citizens to leave the country to cancel their accounts, and hand in their identity cards;

Three, has joined the foreign nationality or settled in a foreign country, by himself or his relatives with a passport and other valid identity documents, to the local police station to declare the cancellation of accounts;

4. Citizens who have been missing for more than one year are still missing. After investigation and verification by the police station, the county-level public security organ may cancel its account according to the relevant provisions;

Five, citizens have more than two permanent residence, the public security organs shall cancel their illegally registered accounts in a timely manner according to the provisions;
