How many years has Zhengding Buddhist Temple been in existence?

Zhengding Buddhist Temple has a history of 1437 years. According to relevant public information, longxing temple, one of the eight famous temples in Zhengding historical and cultural city, is also known as the Great Buddha Temple. It was built in the sixth year of Emperor Kai of Sui Dynasty, that is, 1437 years ago. Formerly known as Longzang Temple, it was called longxing temple in the Tang Dynasty. During Zhao Kuangyin's reign in Song Taizu, he ordered a super-large Buddha statue to be cast in Longzang Temple. In Qing Dynasty, it was changed to longxing temple, commonly known as the Big Buddha Temple.
