What materials are needed to apply for a US visa with a business invitation letter?
After receiving the business invitation letter, you can apply for a business visa.
The process is as follows:
1. Fill out the online DS-160 non-immigrant visa application form and print out the "Confirmation Page" with a barcode.
Note: All applicants, including children, must submit the DS-160 form online and bring a clearly printed "confirmation page" with them when going to the embassy or consulate for an interview. Make sure that all information is completed and correct before submitting. No changes can be made after submission. Remember the DS-160 number to make an appointment for an interview.
2. Pay the visa application fee.
Note: After payment is completed, print the receipt number and keep it properly. Once lost, it cannot be replaced. If the receipt number is not provided, the reservation will not be made.
3. Make an appointment for an interview.
Materials required for making an appointment:
(1) Passport number;
(2) Number on the visa application payment receipt;
(3) Ten (10) digit barcode number on the DS-160 confirmation page.
4. Go to the appointment location for an interview.
Go to the embassy/consulate for an interview at the agreed time. Please bring with you a printout of your appointment slip, a printout of the DS-160 confirmation page, a recent photo taken within the last six months, and all old and new passports. If any of the above materials are missing, the application will not be accepted.
Note: Food and any liquids, including drinks, are not allowed in the embassy visa office. No electronic devices including mobile phones are allowed, so it is recommended not to bring anything with you except keys, wallets and visa application folders. It is very important to be honest during the interview. Misleading, lying/or presenting relevant false information may result in permanent rejection of the visa.
5. Receive passport and visa.
If the visa is approved, the passport and visa will be sent to the designated location selected during the interview appointment.
Required materials
1. Valid passport: If your passport will expire within six months of the expected arrival date in the United States, or is damaged, or there is no blank space in the passport Visa issuance page, please apply for a new passport before coming for your interview.
2. DS-160 form confirmation page: Please indicate your name’s code, Chinese name, Chinese home address, company name and address on it. Please print the form confirmation page vertically on A4 paper. Please bring the printed confirmation page of the DS-160 form to the interview. Do not use the faxed confirmation page.
3. One photo: A 2-inch x 2-inch (51 mm x 51 mm) square, color, frontal photo with a white background, taken within 6 months. See photo requirements for details. Please use clear tape to attach the photo to the passport cover.
4. Formal letter of introduction issued by the Chinese company (must indicate address, phone number, fax number, applicant’s position, purpose of going to France and guarantee of return) and business license (original, copy and translation) pieces).
5. Original invitation letter: If you are invited to visit a resident of the United States, it will be helpful to provide the following information: inviter information, purpose of visit to the United States, and pre-arranged travel schedule. If you are just traveling to the United States, you do not need to show an invitation letter;
6. Original receipt of visa application fee.
7. Passports containing previous visas to the United States, including expired passports.
8. Evidence that can explain why you will definitely return to China: Provide financial, social, family or other binding documents to help prove your intention to return to China after a short stay in the United States. The evidence that applicants should produce will vary depending on their individual circumstances. The following documents can help the visa officer evaluate whether you intend to return to China: household registration book, ID card, employment certificate, pay stub that can objectively reflect monthly income, passbook with normal and regular deposit and withdrawal records, etc.
9. Personal situation: A personal English resume, original personal ID card, original household registration book or original temporary residence permit and residence permit are required.
10. Proof of funds: Prove that you have the ability to pay for the entire stay in the United States without working. For example, pay stubs that can objectively reflect monthly income, passbooks with normal and regular deposit and withdrawal records, etc. (Note: Please do not show the bank deposit certificate. The deposit certificate is not helpful for visa application.)
11. If you are going to the United States for business activities: Please consider bringing the following information to the interview: where you will visit, Who to meet, what to discuss during the meeting, and what products to purchase in the United States. The following documents may be helpful to the application: a detailed invitation letter from the U.S. partner stating the applicant’s purpose of visiting the United States; a contract or other agreement signed with the U.S. partner; machines, software or other equipment that will be tested or purchased in the United States. Information related to the equipment, such as product brochures or product catalogs, etc.
Interview exemption conditions
(1) The last application for a multiple-year visa to the United States, and the applicant went to the United States with the visa and left the country within the period of stay;
(2) The time of this application is within 48 months of the visa expiration date, and the applicant has not been refused a visa by the United States after obtaining the U.S. visa;
(3) The last time he applied for a U.S. visa It has not been investigated by the consulate;
(4) The purpose of the two applications is the same;
Please note that the above materials are not complete, and the above documents cannot be presented during the interview. Make sure you get a visa. You must be prepared in advance so that you can reasonably explain the purpose of your visit to the United States and the reasons for returning to your country during the interview, and present relevant evidence to support your statement.

1. The applicant is visiting the United States for a short period of time and will leave the United States before the visa expires;
2. The applicant is in his or her own country Have a fixed residence, professional or career concerns, or have deep-rooted connections in property, family, social, or cultural aspects, which make it necessary to return to the United States;
3. The applicant’s visit to the United States is purely for the purpose of returning to the United States; Due to business needs, the arrangement of the trip is also consistent with this business activity;
4. The applicant’s travel expenses to and from the United States and expenses in the United States are fully prepared, and there is no need to work in the United States;
5. The applicant will not engage in criminal or illegal activities while in the United States;
