A lucky Viking discovered Wen Lan Island and fought on the Canadian coast.

Contrary to popular belief, Christopher Columbus was not the first European to set up an outpost in America-about 500 years ago, a Viking named Ye Xiaokai ("Lucky") set up a small village in Newfoundland.
