In fact, only a small part of today's Sichuanese are native Sichuanese, and most Sichuanese are foreigners who migrated in those years. Historically, there have been two large-scale migration activities in Sichuan Basin. It is said that Huguang filled Sichuan. First of all, there have been two large-scale population migration events in Sichuan history. Later, in the Kangxi period, in order to solve the contradiction between Sichuan's vast territory and sparse population, a large number of immigrants moved to Sichuan, of which Huguang area accounted for the largest proportion.

Then, before the two large-scale immigrants, the indigenous people in Sichuan were Cuban Shu people. According to historical records, although Sichuan experienced two large-scale population movements in history, before that, the population base of Sichuan was still very large, and the indigenous people in Sichuan were the Shu people in Cuba. According to historical research, there was an ancient Bashu civilization in ancient Sichuan. I believe many people know Sanxingdui Site and Jinsha Site, which witnessed ancient Sichuan and the Shu people in Cuba who lived in this area. According to historical records, there lived a primitive tribe named Shushan in Minshan at that time, and later it developed into an ancient Shu kingdom after a long period of development. Since then, it has experienced the rule of Can Cong, Guanbai and other tribes. According to Shan Hai Jing, there was another Ba state in eastern Sichuan in the pre-Qin period, and then Bashu was destroyed by Qin State, which led to the development of foreign immigrants. Therefore, it can be seen that the indigenous people in Sichuan are Cuban Shu people.
