When did Chaoshan people move to Hailufeng?

Chaoshan people moved to Hailufeng in Ming and Qing Dynasties. Before the Song and Yuan Dynasties, most people moved to Chaoshan, and during the Ming and Qing Dynasties, most people moved to Hailufeng. According to the research of Chaoshan scholars such as Zong Yi and Ting Huang on local chronicles, most of the Minnan people who moved to Chaoshan were concentrated in the Song and Yuan Dynasties, while the ancestors of Hailufeng residents moved from Putian, Zhangzhou and Quanzhou in southern Fujian from the middle and late Ming Dynasty to the early Qing Dynasty, only 234 generations earlier, and some ethnic surnames were only 134 generations, much later than the ancestors of Chaoshan plain residents. Hailufeng clan is a branch of Minnan clan, and both of them are Fulao people. Shanwei people are descendants of Minnan immigrants. At the end of the Song Dynasty and the beginning of the Qing Dynasty, dynasties changed and wars broke out one after another, and a large number of elderly people in Fujian immigrated. At that time, Hailufeng, a vast and sparsely populated city, ushered in two large-scale immigration waves, which laid the foundation for today's shanwei people.
