China's border is so long, how can we prevent domestic people from sneaking out of the country?
The National Immigration Bureau has continuously strengthened the deployment of epidemic prevention and control, and mainly adopted the following measures:
First, try to reduce unnecessary cross-border movement of people. Third-country personnel are prohibited from entering and leaving border crossings, the issuance of entry-exit certificates in border areas is strictly controlled, and non-essential entry-exit activities such as traveling and visiting relatives and friends are restricted.
The second is to strictly manage entry and exit ports and passages. Border crossings that have been closed since the outbreak of the epidemic will continue to be closed, and the opening of seasonal ports will be delayed. Restrict the passage of people at border crossings and border crossings, and only retain the freight function. Cooperate with local authorities to strengthen the monitoring of closed border crossings and passages to prevent illegal entry and exit.
Third, under the unified leadership of party committees and governments in border areas, we should unite local cadres and masses, strengthen the adjustment and deployment of police force, increase the patrol control density of sidewalks, mountain passes and ferries prone to illegal entry and exit activities, severely crack down on illegal entry and exit, smuggling, drug trafficking and other cross-border illegal and criminal activities, and capture and intercept a number of cross-border criminals.
The fourth is to strengthen the publicity and education of laws and policies for the masses in border areas. Encourage the masses to report cross-border illegal and criminal activities.
Fifth, strengthen law enforcement cooperation with the immigration departments of neighboring countries. Establish an information exchange and sharing mechanism, promote the adoption of epidemic prevention control measures coordinated with China, and jointly crack down on cross-border illegal and criminal activities.
